Why the Night of African Entrepreneurs?
Around 740,000 people of African origin live in Germany. Some of them contribute to Germany’s economic prosperity by founding extremely successful companies. Unfortunately, their economic significance is not perceived in politics, society and the media.
The “Night of African Entrepreneurs” initiative was therefore launched in 2015.
On the one hand, the aim is to place a special focus on the target group of African entrepreneurs and, on the other hand, to accompany and support the willingness of Africans from the Diaspora to invest in the Home countries.
The participants get a special insight into the business life of African companies in Germany, useful tips from established companies and how the framework conditions for start-ups can be improved. Best practice examples are shown as a source of motivation.
It is time that the economic significance for the German economy is presented to the general public by entrepreneurs of African origin.
